After Use, Cleaning, and Storage
Clean, inspect, dry, and store Serenity and its accessories after each session.
After Each Session
- Make sure the session has ended.
- Gently remove the ear clips without pulling on the cables.
- Disconnect the ear clip cable if needed for storage.
Cleaning
Remove conductive gel residue from the ear clips after each use.
Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to wipe the clips. If needed, apply a small amount of mild soap to the cloth.
Wipe the device body with a clean, soft cloth.
Do not immerse the device, clips, or cables in water. Keep moisture out of the charging and stimulation ports.
Do not use abrasive cleaners, harsh solvents, or alcohol directly on the device surfaces.
Drying
Allow all components to dry completely before reconnecting or storing them.
Never charge or use the device while any component is wet.
Storage
Store Serenity and its accessories in the carrying case or another clean, dry location.
Keep the device away from:
- Direct sunlight
- Extreme temperatures
- Excessive moisture
- Dust and dirt
- Objects that may damage the device or cables
Checking for Wear
Inspect the ear clips, cables, and connectors regularly.
Replace any accessory that becomes damaged, corroded, or unable to maintain reliable contact.
Do not continue using damaged accessories.
