Before First Use
Complete the safety, equipment, charging, skin, and environment checks required before your first session.
Before Your First Session
Take a moment to prepare your device and surroundings.
Check the Device
- Inspect the device, ear clips, and cables for damage.
- Make sure all components are clean and dry.
- Do not use Serenity if the device is cracked, swollen, unusually hot, wet, or otherwise damaged.
- Do not use frayed, corroded, discolored, or damaged cables or clips.
Charge the Battery
Fully charge Serenity before its first use.
Prepare Your Skin
Clean and dry both earlobes. Do not attach the clips to broken, infected, or irritated skin.
Apply a small amount of conductive gel to each clip’s contact surface.
Choose a Safe Location
Use Serenity indoors, while seated or lying down.
Keep the device away from water and avoid activities that require attention, coordination, or balance.
Start at a Low Intensity
Begin at the lowest setting and increase gradually only if needed.
A stronger sensation does not necessarily mean a better experience. Never increase the intensity to the point of discomfort.
