Troubleshooting
Resolve common power, contact, battery, sensation, and session issues.
Use the checks below to resolve common issues. Stop using Serenity if the controller or an accessory is damaged, unusually hot, swollen, wet, or contaminated.
The Controller Does Not Turn On
- Connect the controller to a compatible USB power source.
- Allow it to charge fully.
- Disconnect the charging cable and press the Z button.
- If it still does not turn on, contact Zeno Labz.
The Red Contact Indicator Blinks
- Stop or pause the session as needed.
- Remove and inspect both clips.
- Clean and dry both earlobes.
- Apply a small amount of conductive gel to each electrode contact.
- Reattach the clips securely and restart at the lowest intensity.
- If red blinking continues, inspect the cable and clips for damage and contact Zeno Labz.
You Feel Little or No Sensation
- Confirm that the green session indicator is pulsing.
- Check clip contact and gel coverage.
- Correct any red blinking contact warning.
- Do not increase intensity beyond a comfortable setting.
The Blue Indicator Flashes
The controller is adjusting automatically. No action is normally required. Stop the session if the flashing is accompanied by discomfort or another unexpected condition.
The Session Ends Early
- Check for a low-battery indication.
- Reapply conductive gel and reposition the clips.
- Inspect the cable and clips for damage.
- Contact Zeno Labz if sessions repeatedly end early.
The Battery Bars Blink
Charge the controller before the next session. If charging behavior is unusual or the controller becomes hot, swollen, or damaged, disconnect it and contact Zeno Labz.
Contact Support
